It has been a while since our last article on GMAC Bank CD rates, so to those of us here at CD Interest Rates Info it seemed like it was time for an update.  We recently took a look at GMAC CD rates, and found the GMAC interest rates on a couple of certificates of deposit worth considering.

The first GMAC Bank CD that caught our attention was the GMAC Bank 12 Month CD.  This CD earns an interest rate of 3.44 percent, which returns an Annual Percentage Yield (APY) of 3.50 percent.  That makes the GMAC 1 Year CD among the highest CD interest rates that we are currently aware of.

The other GMAC CD that we were interested in is the GMAC 5 Year CD.  This 60 Month CD earns interest at the rate of 3.68 percent, translating into an APY of 3.75 percent.  Again, this ranks among the best bank CD rates that is currently available.
