ING Direct CD Rates
ING Direct is the online banking division of ING Group, which is a very large financial institution based in the Netherlands. We thought that we would take a look at the CD interest rates at ING to see how they compare to the competition. We found a few ING CDs worth investigating.
The main type of ING Bank certificate of deposit is the ING Orange CD. Orange CDs come in many different term lengths, and ING Orange CD rates do vary depending on the length of the term.
The ING Orange 12 month CD has an Annual Percentage Yield (APY) of 4.25 percent. That seems like a pretty good rate for a 1 year CD.
The ING Orange 24 month CD earns an APY of 4.50 percent. Not bad for a 2 year CD these days.
The ING Orange 60 month CD also earns an APY of 4.50 percent. With the current uncertainty about the long-term direction of interest rates, this also strikes us as an ING CD rate worth checking out.
These ING Direct CD Rates seem pretty appealing in today’s CD market. Please remember to check the ING Direct online banking site to confirm the ING Bank CD Rates available in your town, as interest rates can change quickly and may vary by location.
