Bank of America is one of the leading banks in the US today and they operate in numerous locations across the country. They offer four different kinds of CDs, mainly to meet the investment requirements of their customers. The four kinds of CDs are High Yield CD, Risk Free CD, Opt-Up CD and standard term CD. The High Yield CD helps to increase the interest earned from the investment provided the investor can lock in the money for a certain period of time. A minimum of $5,000 is required to open the CD and it has to be for a 12-month term. The current CD interest rates on this kind of CD is 0.90% APY.

The Risk Free CD option offered by Bank of America combines a savings account and a CD to give investors good return on investment as well as a good degree of flexibility. The main advantage of this kind of CD is that one can withdraw the money before the end of the term period. A minimum deposit of $5,000 is required with a maximum cap of $500,000. The term is usually 9 months and the Bank of America CD rates on this option is 0.45%. The Opt-Up CD helps investors to take advantage of interest rates as they increase. The term period is 18 months and one can invest anywhere between $10,000 and $250,000. The Bank of America CD rates on this CD is 1.10% APY. The last Bank of America Certificate of Deposit is the Standard Term CD which offers 1.35% APY. These are some of the best CD rates in the market today.

GMAC CD Rates Update

Post from: CD Interest Rates Info

We haven’t looked at CD interest rates and GMAC Bank CD offers in a while, so we here at CD Interest Rates Info thought we should do that and bring you up to date on what’s happening with GMAC interest rates.

GMAC Bank has changed its name to Ally Bank, though GMAC Finance is still under the same name for auto loans. The CD rates at GMAC Bank have been the best in the nation for a long time and continue to be so now with great offers in GMAC interest rates given.

For the best offer now, the No Penalty CD has GMAC Bank CD rates of 1.60% annual percentage yield (APY) for a 9 month term. This offer has no minimum deposit requirements and no fees attached. A great way to get in on CD rates at GMAC Bank.

Standard offers are good as well, of course. GMAC CD rates on 3 month terms are 1.15% APY, 1.50% APY on six months, and 2.00% on 12 and 18 month terms. Excellent GMAC interest rates there.

For 2 years, the GMAC Bank CD rates are 2.25% APY, 2.70% APY for 3 years, and 2.85% APY for four years. Finally, a five year term nets CD interest rates of 3.35% APY.

Definitely some good offers and nationally-leading CD interest rates on that list. GMAC Bank CD offers are subject to change at any time, of course. GMAC (Ally) is fully FDIC insured. If any of these GMAC Bank CD offers appeal to you, lock yours in today.

When we last looked at ING CD rates, they were very high, especially for some of the specials they were running. Like most high-rate CD interest rates, though, that’s changed. So we here at CD Interest Rates Info thought it about time we brought you up to date with ING Direct CD rates.

Right now, rates are in tiers by term and we’ll express them here at annual percentage yields (APY). ING certificate of deposit rates are holding steady at slightly above national average, but for some terms, especially the common ones like 1, 3, and 5 years, other offers might have higher CD interest rates.

For a six or nine month term, ING CD rates are 1.25% APY. One year or eighteen month ING Direct CD rates are 1.50% APY. Twenty-four, thirty, and thirty-six month terms for ING certificate of deposit rates are also 1.50% APY and others might be offering something better right now for those terms.

Finally, forty-eight and sixty month terms give ING CD rates of 1.75% APY.

All of these ING Direct CD rates are available online, nationally, and can be opened anywhere in the U.S. All ING accounts are FDIC insured. To get the best CD interest rates, we recommend you move quickly before these change again. Some of these ING CD rates are very good and worth looking into.

There has been a good deal of buzz lately about New Dominion Bank CD Rates being amongst the highest CD Interest rates around. Therefore, CD Interest Rates Info thought we had better take a look at the CD rates at New Dominion Bank to see how they compare to the competition.

New Dominion has two types of certificates of deposit: fixed rate CDs and variable rate CDs. We looked at both types, and have some good news and bad news to report.

First the bad news: the New Dominion Bank variable rate CDs currently all have interest rates below 1.00 percent. Therefore, we can’t really recommend those certificates of deposit.

Now for the good news: in reviewing New Dominion fixed rate CDs, we found one of the highest CD rates currently available. The New Dominion 24 month CD earns an Annual Percentage Yield of 3.01 percent. That’s hard to beat in today’s market. This CD requires a minimum deposit of $3,000, and is insured in accordance with FDIC requirements.

So, if you are looking for some high interest CD interest rates, you may want to check out New Dominion CD rates. Be sure to see the New Dominion online banking web site to confirm the current CD rates available in your area, because certificate of deposit rates and terms can change quickly and differ by location.
